Doctorate Title: What is the health education role of paramedics for older individuals and communities within rural and regional Australia? A mixed methods study.

Doctorate Description: This project aims to investigate the involvement of paramedics in the health education of older adults in rural and regional areas. It will allow an assessment and greater understanding of need-specific issues related to a vulnerable population group residing in areas faced by healthcare provision challenges. A premise of this study is that paramedics may be uniquely placed to contribute to the health outcomes of older adults in rural and regional areas, beyond their traditional role within emergency medicine.
