About

Paramedic PhD was developed in November 2017 out of necessity to identify paramedics, emergency medical technicians, nurses, physicians and non-clinical researchers around the world who are undertaking or have completed a Doctorate (PhD, Professional Doctorate, EdD or other) in the field of paramedicine, specifically within emergency medical services, primary care, education or any other relevant field.
Since then we have developed a second register for supervisors who have a special interest in the field of paramedicine who are willing to supervise prospective doctoral students.
The aims of the registry are to:
  1. Prevent duplication of research
  2. Promote collaboration between researchers
  3. Allow prospective doctoral students to identify a suitable topic and supervisor
The registry idea was conceived by Scott Munro and Professor Tom Quinn.

Paramedic PhD was developed and is maintained by Gregory Whitley.  Maintenance is undertaken between clinical and academic commitments therefore uploads will be performed as soon as reasonably possible.

Paramedic PhD receives no sponsorship therefore there are no commercial influences on the site, nor any adverts.
