Doctorate Title: Early identification of the older adult in the pre-hospital phase of care with eventual high injury severity scores.

Doctorate Description: The older adults, who are eventually diagnosed with high injury severity scores, often experience delays in diagnosis and management which impact on their eventual outcome. This PhD will address the issues of what is major trauma, how does it effect the older adult differently and how can we identify those older adults who may benefit from specialist intervention early in their journey of care.
