Doctorate Title: Prehospital ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction Systems and Paramedic Care in Victoria, Australia.

Doctorate Description: This PhD explores how paramedics care for patients experiencing a ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in Victoria, using data from the Victorian Ambulance STEMI Quality Initiative (VASQI). It examines how care has changed over time, how key elements of early treatment are delivered in the field, and patient outcomes. It will also look at differences between metropolitan and rural care, with the aim of identifying areas where systems can be strengthened. The overall goal is to support better outcomes by improving the coordination, delivery, and quality of care for STEMI patients.
